Jan Henkens

After graduating from RWTH Aachen University in Germany, he joined Nikken Sekkei in 2005. He also serves as the head of the Nikken Riyadh Branch. In the Project Promotion Department, he is primarily involved in business development in the Middle East and the management of ongoing projects. Leveraging his communication skills and management experience, he serves as Project Manager for large-scale, complex projects—from the competition phase through each design stage—working in close collaboration with clients and partner firms. The projects he oversees span a wide range of sectors, including research facilities, commercial buildings, financial institutions, multipurpose facilities, and embassies. In every project, he manages the process with a strong emphasis on efficient and seamless collaboration between the client and the design team (comprising both in-house and external experts) to ensure a well-structured process.
