In 1990, he completed his doctoral program at the Graduate School of the Waseda University and joined Nikken Sekkei. His dissertation was titled “An Empirical Study on the Advancement of Urban Supply and Treatment Systems.”He was assigned to the urban planning department. Until 2008, while engaged in domestic urban development projects, he was also involved in public relations activities such as “Environmental Dialogue” and “Toward a New Capital: 22 Proposals and Recommendations.” In 2014, he concurrently served as the public relations officer, formulating branding strategies and developing PR tools.
In 2009, he transferred to the Client Relations (Sales) department. In addition to design supervision and development-related work, he was involved in business development and acquisition in new fields, as well as building external relationships. He became Deputy Group Representative in 2014, Group Representative in 2022, and has held that position to the present.
