After graduating from the Department of Architectural Engineering (Structural Engineering) at Hokkaido University’s Faculty of Engineering and completing the Information Environment Studies program at the Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering at Tokyo Institute of Technology (focusing on “landscape”), I joined the Civil Engineering Office at Nikken Sekkei in April 1996. Throughout his tenure at Nikken Sekkei Civil Engineering Office—and prior to that—he has been primarily engaged in detailed design and on-site supervision for residential land development and building exteriors. In addition, he has been involved in obtaining permits and approvals, such as development permits under the Tokyo Metropolitan City Planning Act and forest land development permits under the Forest Act. He also has experience working on-site in Myanmar for four years starting in 2014 as an in-house engineer for the construction of an industrial park in a Special Economic Zone. He is a First-Class Architect.
