After completing the Master’s program in Civil Engineering at the Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology, Kobe University, in 1998, he joined Nikken Sekkei and was transferred to Nikken Sekkei Civil Engineering when that division was established in 2001. He was subsequently transferred back to Nikken Sekkei following the merger with Nikken Sekkei in 2022. Since joining the company, he has been engaged in the design of river, port, and erosion control facilities, as well as consulting in the field of geotechnical engineering, including issues related to adjacent construction, ground subsidence, and slope failures. In addition to handling design work for both government agencies and the private sector, he supports the smooth execution of projects from a civil engineering perspective by identifying ground-related issues and problems from the early stages of a project and proposing solutions. Certified Professional Engineer (Rivers, Erosion Control, and Coastal and Marine Engineering).
