After completing his graduate studies at Kobe University in 1994, he joined Nikken Sekkei. Since then, he has been engaged in structural design across a wide range of fields, from office buildings to manufacturing facilities. Projects he has worked on include the “Tohoku Electric Power Headquarters Building,” the “Shin-Yokohama Central Building (‘Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama’),” the “Kuji City Gymnasium,” and the “Tokyo Skytree.”In addition to domestic projects, he has managed overseas projects in China, Vietnam, Dubai, and other locations. In 2012, he was transferred to the Corporate Planning Office, where he was responsible for tasks such as revising the human resources system.In 2015, he transferred to the Design Division Construction Administration Department, where, as General Manager, he assisted the department head and the president in managing operations, as well as in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation. Around the same time, he began focusing on knowledge management—using insights gained from projects to connect the organization—and has been building systems for knowledge sharing. Since 2021, he has concurrently served as head of the Project Information Department Director.He has held his current position since 2024. He is a First-Class Structural Architect, a Certified Professional Engineer (Steel Structures and Concrete), and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan.
