Takanashi Motohisa

After graduating from Hosei University, he worked at a Japanese architectural firm and served as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at the National University of Technology in Ipoh, Malaysia, before joining Nikken Sekkei in 1987. During his career spanning more than 30 years at Nikken Sekkei, he has been involved in architectural design across a wide range of fields, including mixed-use complexes, offices, marine education centers, baseball stadiums, auditoriums, museums, and manufacturing and logistics facilities. He has also been in charge of 20 international projects in eight countries (Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, China, and the United States). In 2016, he was appointed Chief Representative of the Vietnam Representative Office to oversee projects in Vietnam and other ASEAN countries.
