In 1990, after graduating from the Department of Architecture at Tokyo Institute of Technology, he studied under Kazunari Sakamoto in the university’s master’s program. In 1992, he joined Nikken Sekkei (NS).At the Tokyo Studio, he studied under Shoji Hayashi. He was in charge of the “Iidabashi First Building”—a mid-rise, seismic-isolation apartment complex situated atop a rooftop garden comparable in size to that of the Palace Side Building—and the “Nippon Life Marunouchi Building,” which incorporated seismic-damping performance into the double-column design of the Nissei Theater.In 2000, he left NS to co-found “Nikken Sekkei Management Solutions (NMS).” He developed office consulting services during the early days of “Work Style Reform” for clients such as Nippon Life’s Tokyo Headquarters, Merrill Lynch Japan, Microsoft Japan, and Yahoo! Japan.
In 2015, following the merger of NS and NMS, he began working in client relations. He is a First-Class Architect.
