Ryotaro Emoto

In 1997, after completing his master’s degree at Kyoto Institute of Technology, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is architectural design. He has been responsible for the design of numerous projects across a wide range of fields, including educational and research facilities, religious facilities, lodging facilities, sports facilities, and mixed-use complexes. He has a track record of multiple large-scale campus development projects. His awards include the BCS Award, selection for the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Collection of Outstanding Works, selection for the Japan Institute of Architects’ Collection of Outstanding Works, the Energy Conservation Grand Prize, and the Sustainable Architecture Award. He is a First-Class Architect, a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan, and an APEC Architect.
