In 2005, after completing his master’s degree at the University of Tsukuba, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He is currently based in Shanghai as the head of Nikken Sekkei’s Shanghai Design Department.Specializing in architectural design, he has brought to fruition a wide range of projects in China, including large-scale mixed-use developments, integrated TOD projects, and corporate headquarters. He has been in charge of projects such as the Shanghai Shanghai Bund CITIC Plaza (2010), the Lujiazui Financial Plaza (2014), the Industrial Bank Headquarters (2019),Xinyuan·Honeycomb (2019), among others. These projects have received numerous architectural awards, including selection for the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Collection of Works, the Gold Award at the China Real Estate Design Awards, and the Creative Award from the China High-Rise Building Society.In large-scale urban development projects, he has sought to integrate architecture with the local context and urban environment, exploring how to enrich people’s lives and activities. He is a Class 1 Architect in Japan and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan.
