He joined the company in 1992 after completing his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Engineering (Department of Architecture) at the University of Tokyo. He worked at the Osaka office until 2016, where—guided by the motto “How to design a city without designing buildings”—he was involved in the planning and design of various public spaces, including design guidelines and station plazas.Following the Koizumi Bubble, he immersed himself in large-scale urban development projects in Osaka, participating as an urban planner in projects such as Grand Front Osaka, Festival City, JP Tower, and the Shinsaibashi Daimaru redevelopment.He was subsequently transferred to Tokyo, where he has been focusing on the development of overseas projects across the Middle East, the CIS, India, ASEAN, East Asia, and China. Leveraging the business acumen cultivated through Japanese urban development, textured designs rooted in Japanese culture, and Japan’s world-renowned urban design principles—such as TOD, Public Space, Smart City, andGreen Initiatives—all of which Japan takes pride in—to drive the development of overseas projects.
