Taro Katsuyama

In 1990, he completed his master’s degree at the Waseda University and joined Nikken Sekkei. GRAND GREEN OSAKA He has been involved in numerous development projects in central Osaka—including Umeda, Nakanoshima, and Midosuji—and has led architectural design for a wide range of projects, such as tenant office buildings, corporate headquarters, luxury hotels, university campuses, and community hubs, building a track record across diverse fields.Since 2022, he has served as Representative of Osaka Office. In addition to the JIA Excellence in Architecture Award, the Japan Federation of Architects’ Associations Award, the BCS Award, and inclusion in the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Selected Works Collection, he has also received landscape and environmental awards for his public space planning projects. He is a First-Class Registered Architect and a member of the Japan Institute of Architects and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
