In 1983, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He worked in Osaka as a structural engineer. His primary responsibilities included the structural design of the Mainichi Broadcasting System headquarters and the Kobe Customs Headquarters, as well as construction supervision for the Osaka World Trade Center Building.In 1997, he was transferred to the Technical Development and Design Office in Tokyo, where he engaged in project management for nuclear-related facilities. Since 2005, he has been in charge of legal affairs in the Administration Office. He is a First-Class Architect.
