Toru Uehara

In 1986, after graduating from the Department of Civil Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering at the Waseda University, he joined Nihon Sekkei. He specializes in architectural design and project management.
JP Tower Osaka, Infosys Shanghai Campus, EXIV Arima Rikyu,Yodoyabashi odona, NHK Tokushima Broadcasting Hall, Kyushu University Faculty of Medicine Centennial Auditorium, Kyoto Pharmaceutical University Center for Frontier Research in Drug Discovery, and Tezukayama Gakuin Sumiyoshi Campus. He specializes in the design of various building types—including offices, auditoriums, broadcasting stations, schools, and hotels—as well as the design and project management of large-scale mixed-use developments.He also has experience with overseas projects.
Recipient of awards including the Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) Selected Works Collection, the JIA Outstanding Architecture Selection, and the Good Design Award.
First-Class Architect, Registered Architect with the Japan Institute of Architects, APEC ARCHITECT.
