In 1992, after completing his master’s degree in architecture at Kyoto University, he joined Nikken Sekkei.
Since then, based in Osaka, he has worked on a wide range of projects, from urban design—such as Rinku Town (Izumisano City)—to landscape design, including Imari Family Park (Saga Prefecture).He also has experience on secondment to the Japan Greening Center (a public interest incorporated foundation), and his areas of expertise include the planning and design of urban parks, the creation of green spaces in public areas, and community development related to green infrastructure, including the conservation of local biodiversity and the restoration of natural environments.
