"YKK 80 Building," designed by Nikken Sekkei, has become the first project in Japan to receive the Grand Prize at the ASHRAE Technology Awards on a global level.
2017年1月28日、日建設計が設計を担当させていただきました「YKK80ビル」(2015年6月竣工)が、American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) *１ の主催する、ASHRAE Technology Awards *2 の世界レベル表彰において、日本で初めて最優秀賞(First Place)を受賞しました。昨年10月、同賞のアジア地区最優秀賞も受賞しておりますが、この度は、全世界へと対象を広げたなかでの受賞となります。
YKK80ビルは、 今回のASHRAE TECHNOLOGY AWARDSの他にも、昨年2月に米国グリーンビルディング協会(USGBC)が開発・運用する、環境に配慮した建物・エリア開発の世界的な認証システムであるLEED-CSにおいて、オフィスビルでは日本初となる「プラチナ認証」を取得しています。
日建設計では、 かねてより環境配慮型建築の設計•監理を推進しておりますが、今後も、より環境に配慮し、社会に貢献できる環境、都市、建築づくりに努めてまいりたいと考えております。
