Hisaya-odori Park was selected to receive the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award in the Special Theme Category (Initiatives for Introducing Private-Sector Participation) at the 37th Urban Parks and Green Spaces Competition (organized by the Japan Parks and Green Spaces Association).
