The Nagoya TV Tower has been selected to receive the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award for Outstanding Seismic Retrofit in Architecture at the 13th Seismic Retrofit Excellence in Architecture and Contributors Awards (organized by the Japan Architectural Disaster Prevention Association).
