The manhole toilet featured in the dual-purpose disaster-preparedness solar carport has been selected for the Social Activities category of the 16th JTA Toilet Award (formerly the Good Toilet Selection Award), organized by the Japan Toilet Association (JTA) Toilet Award Committee.
