Nikken Sekkei Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director President and CEO: Atsushi Omatsu, hereinafter “Nikken Sekkei”) and Nikken Space Design Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: President and CEO: Yutaka Okubo, hereinafter “Nikken Space Design”) have decided to merge effective April 1, 2024, with Nikken Sekkei serving as the surviving company.
For 30 years, Nikken Space Design has been providing high-quality spatial solutions to our clients. Through this merger, we intend to leverage Nikken Sekkei’s comprehensive capabilities and further enhance Nikken Space Design’s refined design expertise to continue delivering high-quality spaces and responding to our clients’ needs with meticulous attention to detail.
Under this new structure, we will also offer proposals addressing future needs—such as the effective utilization of existing building stock and carbon neutrality initiatives—to provide spatial experiences that resonate with all five senses.
Taking this opportunity as a new beginning, all of our executives and staff are committed to working diligently with renewed determination.
