アジア地域で初の開催となるラグビーワールドカップ2019日本大会には、15の自治体が開催地に名乗りをあげ盛り上がりを見せています。世界的なスポーツイベントが地域にもたらす効果や、地域になじむスタジアムのありかたなどについてお話を伺います。また、翌2020年には東京オリンピック・パラリンピック競技大会が開催され、世界的なスポーツイベントが続きます。これらを契機に、ポスト2020の都市生活や都市空間がどのように変わっていくのかなど、幅広い議論ができれば幸いです。（ファシリテーター：大崎一仁）

Rugby World Cup 2019 Organizing Committee Operations Director
Graduated from Keio University in 1995. Worked at JTB Corporation, where he was involved in administrative support for domestic and international events—primarily sports-related—as well as the planning and implementation of logistics. He has held his current position since July 2011.He is engaged in the selection of host cities for domestic tournaments, as well as negotiations with the international federation—the tournament organizer—and coordination and negotiations with stakeholders.
Major past events: Tokyo Marathon, FIFA World Cup South Africa, Toray Pan Pacific Tennis

Nikken Sekkei Executive Officer Client Relations Department Deputy Head of the Client Relations Group (Tokyo), Ph.D. in Engineering
Born in 1961 in Nakano Ward, Tokyo. Graduated from the Graduate School of Waseda University in 1990. Joined Nikken Sekkei the same year. After working in the Planning Office and the Planning and Development Division, he has held his current position to the present.
