The Post 2020 Study Group held its first symposium last December, focusing on the future of cities and society beyond 2020.
The theme for this second session is < Gimmicks × Mechanisms × Experiments >.
We are pleased to welcome Tomoko Ikuta of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology; Yutaka Shima of the Development Bank of Japan; and Hiromasa Shirai of H2R Architects as speakers, who will share their ideas on how to bring the concept of a “mature city” to life.
The Post 2020 Research Group will present a topic focusing on initiatives related to the design of public spaces, using the Ueno area as a case study.
