Announcement of the 27th NSRI Forum
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the architectural journal *Shin Kenchiku*. The publication has continued to share insights on architectural trends and new developments in the design world from its unique perspective. In this session, we welcome Editor-in-Chief Yutaka Shikata to discuss how the magazine evaluates architects’ work and how it conveys the possibilities that architecture creates on its pages.(Facilitator: Ken Kodama)

Yutaka Shikata
Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1969.
Graduated from the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda University in 1993.
Completed Master's program in Architecture Waseda University Graduate School of Science and Engineering in 1995.
1999-2004: Editor-in-Chief of "JA" (Shinkenchiku-sha)
2008–Present: Editor-in-Chief of "Shinkenchiku" (New Architecture) magazine
