The 33rd NSRI Forum
SEMINAR/EVENT
2015.11.19
Since the Abe administration took office, Japan has been actively working—through a joint public-private effort—to promote the “export of high-quality cities and infrastructure” to countries around the world.
While success stories are gradually emerging, there are still few cases that can be considered successful as comprehensive packages covering an entire city.
There shouldn’t be any issues with the offerings, so why aren’t they selling?
What is the true competitive edge that our partners are seeking?
How are other countries marketing their offerings?
For this session, we welcome Ms. Yumiko Noda of PwC Japan—who is deeply familiar with the cutting-edge developments and challenges in Japan’s urban and infrastructure exports—as our guest. We will exchange views primarily from the perspectives of structure and design to explore the path forward. (Facilitator: Wataru Tanaka)
