The Buchan Group, Shanghai—Principal
In 1996, he joined Westfield, an Australian commercial developer. After working on the planning and design of numerous commercial facilities in Australia, New Zealand, and the United States, he joined The Buchan Group in 2014.Currently at Buchan’s Shanghai office, he is overseeing the review of the retail strategy and plan for a 25,000-square-meter commercial facility in Xiamen (Amoy), the planning, architectural, and interior design for the Shanghai Raffles City renovation project,and the master planning, architectural, and interior design for a mixed-use development in Inner Mongolia (comprising an 188-meter residential tower, an office building, and an eight-story retail complex).

Ikumi Inoue
Assistant to the Head of the Project Development Division, Nikken Sekkei
Joined Nikken Sekkei, Ltd. in 1991. After working at Nikken Sekkei Management Solutions and the Nikken Sekkei Research Institute, she spent over 20 years as a project manager supporting designers, playing a broad role in the planning, design, construction, and operation of offices and logistics facilities for foreign-affiliated companies.
In October 2015, she was appointed to the board of directors of The Buchan Group Melbourne Pty Ltd, a major Australian architectural firm with which Nikken Sekkei entered into a business alliance. She is scheduled to be stationed in Melbourne starting in January 2016.
