We produced the “ACTIVATION Exhibition,” organized by ICEX (the Spanish Trade and Investment Agency) and the Economic and Commercial Section of the Spanish Embassy.

From November 9 to 11, 2016, an exhibition showcasing the latest Spanish furniture and interior design materials was held at the Spanish Embassy. The spatial design for the exhibition was produced by Takeyuki Katsuya, Yasuhiro Shiojima, and Yuki Hirai—the architects responsible for the renovation of our Camp Nou project.The theme of the exhibition was “ACTIVATION.” Through this exhibition, we sought to explore the potential of wood while stimulating the five senses to reexamine the relationship between furniture and people, and to bring out the full potential of human activity.

From November 28 through the end of the year, a selection of exhibits and furniture from the “ACTIVATION” exhibition will be on display on the second floor of the Nikken Sekkei Tokyo Building. Please feel free to stop by if you’re in the area.
