Engineering Department: Structural Design Group Special Exhibition

We will be holding a technical tour.
Nikken Sekkei is a comprehensive design firm engaged in architectural and civil engineering design and supervision, urban planning, and related surveys, planning, and consulting services. To raise the overall standard and level of the architectural design industry, we are hosting a seminar for students aspiring to become architects to learn about the work of an architectural design firm and its future prospects. If you wish to participate, please apply according to the guidelines below.

1. Purpose of the Technical Tour
We will delve deeper into each exhibit at the Nikken Sekkei “Engineering Department” structural design group exhibition,
“STRACTS (STRUCTURE+ACT⊃CONNECTION),” which has been on display since November 5.
The curators themselves will provide clear explanations of the ideas and intentions behind each exhibit.

Undergraduate and graduate students interested in architectural structural design

*Each session will last approximately 1 hour (30-minute presentation, 30-minute Q&A)

A technical tour is a session where the project planners themselves
and help participants understand the intent behind the exhibits in an easy-to-understand manner,
