Nikken Sekkei is a comprehensive design firm engaged in architectural and civil engineering design and supervision, urban planning, and related surveys, planning, and consulting services. We listen earnestly to the voices of society and our clients, guarantee unwavering value and quality, and work every day as a group of experts pioneering the forefront of social and environmental design.
To raise the overall standard and level of the architectural design industry, we are hosting a seminar for students aspiring to become architects to learn about the work of an architectural design firm and its future prospects. If you wish to participate, please apply according to the guidelines below.
We hope this event will be of assistance to you in your academic pursuits and future career planning.
1. Tour Details
You will walk through the workplace alongside the architects who designed the Nikken Sekkei Tokyo Building and experience the atmosphere of an architectural firm’s office.
This is a valuable opportunity to observe real-life design work firsthand—including design department staff making sketches, using BIM,
and hold meetings—a valuable opportunity to observe design work in action.
We will also set aside time for a Q&A session regarding the tour and other topics.
This year, you’ll also have the opportunity to tour the Takebashi Office, which has just opened in the Palace Side Building.
2. Target Audience
Undergraduate and graduate students interested in architecture (all years welcome)
3. Date and Time
Thursday, July 25, 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM (approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes)
4. Meeting Place
Nikken Sekkei Tokyo Takebashi Office
1-1-1 Hitotsubashi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo

Due to venue capacity, the number of participants is limited.
Please note that if we receive a large number of applications, we will select participants by lottery.
