Engineering Department: Structural Design Group Exhibition in Nagoya
We will be holding “STRACTS (STRUCTURE+ACT⊃CONNECTION).”

Vitruvius of ancient Rome stated that "architecture should be built in such a way that it upholds the principles of firmitas (strength), utilitas (utility), and venustas (beauty)." In order to continue producing well-balanced architecture embodying "strength, utility, and beauty," the Nikken Sekkei Structural Design Group has consistently pursued challenges and refinements, approached design with initiative, and faced ever-changing social demands and unimaginable natural threats with humility and without becoming complacent with its experience and knowledge.
This event, which aims to allow people to experience the technology, services, and creativity of the Nikken Sekkei Structural Design Group firsthand, was well-received when it was held in Tokyo last year, and after touring Kyushu and Osaka, it will now be held in Nagoya.
Sharing the joy with everyone involved in the buildings we design is what drives our design motivation.

●The title of this exhibition, "STRACTS," is a coined word combining "STRUCTURE" and "ACT," representing the "activities" of the Nikken Sekkei Structural Design Group from the past to the present.
