NIKKEN FORUM Webinar
What Steps Should Japan’s Real Estate Sector Take Looking Ahead to 2050?
SEMINAR/EVENT
2023.03.01
The Nikken Group’s brand vision is to “pioneer the cutting edge of social and environmental design together with our clients.” Recognizing that “net-zero cities and buildings” is its top priority, the Group announced its endorsement of the TCFD recommendations in November 2022, following its declaration of a climate emergency in March 2021.
Going forward, companies in the real estate sector are expected to set net-zero targets through initiatives such as the TCFD and incorporate concrete actions into their business strategies. As we enter an era where performance—encompassing not only decarbonization but also climate resilience—is becoming increasingly important to real estate value, we are pleased to host two leaders active on the front lines for a lecture and panel discussion. We hope this event will provide an opportunity to explore strategies for achieving net-zero by 2050 together with all of you.
