Ceremony Held to Celebrate the Establishment of Nikken Sekkei Dubai, a Local Subsidiary

On May 17, Nikken Sekkei held a commemorative ceremony at Palace Downtown to mark the establishment of its new local subsidiary, Nikken Sekkei Dubai, in the Dubai Design District. The event was attended by more than 130 clients and partners.

Following remarks by Atsushi Omatsu, Representative Director of Nikken Sekkei (President and CEO), Mr. Noboru Sekiguchi, Consul General of Japan in Dubai, delivered a congratulatory address. In his remarks, Fadi Jabri, Representative Director of Nikken Sekkei Dubai (President and CEO), reflected on the company’s journey since its founding in Dubai.

Nikken Sekkei’s first project in Dubai was the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for which the firm was selected in an international competition approximately 30 years ago.Since then, Dubai’s excellent infrastructure and the branch’s proximity to clients in the Middle East, India, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have supported the branch’s growth. Notable recent projects include One Za’abeel in Dubai and the Tadawul Tower in Riyadh.

During the second half of the ceremony, we presented Nikken Sekkei Dubai’s latest projects. Nikken Sekkei Dubai remains committed to contributing to Dubai’s continued development by providing comprehensive and innovative designs for markets in the United Arab Emirates and neighboring countries, including mixed-use developments, urban design, hospitality, and luxury residential projects.
