He completed his graduate studies at Niigata University in 1994 and joined Nikken Sekkei that same year. He was primarily involved in master planning and urban development projects in areas such as central Tokyo, the Hokuriku region, and Hokkaido. In 2010, he transferred to the Client Relations Department, where he was responsible for a wide range of sales activities related to domestic surveys and planning, design and supervision, and development-related services.
In 2015, he was seconded to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, where he worked on building regulations related to disaster prevention and seismic resistance.
He has held his current position since 2022. He is a First-Class Architect.
