Jun Nagase

In 1994, after graduating from the Department of Architecture in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Tama Art University, he moved to the United States.
In 1997, after completing his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture at the University of Southern California, he worked as a design architect at an architectural firm in the United States.
In 2005, after returning to Japan, he worked at a software company and, following experience supporting the implementation of BIM at major general contractors and architectural firms, joined Nikken Sekkei in 2014.
Since joining the firm, he has aimed to improve operational efficiency through the use of BIM and digital technologies. While working across organizational boundaries to establish and promote BIM standards, he has also contributed to projects such as the New National Stadium (Zaha Hadid Architects + Design Joint Venture), 52 | 42 (Dubai, 2021), Forte Towers (Dubai, 2023), One Za’abeel (Dubai, 2024), Toyota Woven City Phase 1 (2024), TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY THE LINK PILLAR 1 (Design Consortium: JR East Architectural Design + JR East Consultants + Nippon Sekkei + Nikken Sekkei, 2025), among others, overseeing BIM management for large-scale projects both domestically and internationally
