Katsuhide Murakami

Joined Nikken Sekkei in 1988. He has performed seismic retrofitting for new construction and additions across a wide range of building types—from low-rise to high-rise structures and buildings with large spans—as well as various structural systems, including reinforced concrete (RC), steel-reinforced concrete (SRC), steel, wood, membrane, and brick.He has gained extensive experience and expertise in the design of buildings constructed both in Japan and overseas. With a creative approach that extends beyond architectural structures and a strong foundation in engineering technology, he is responsible not only for design but also for various development projects.
Furthermore, he handles matters related to industrial property rights, such as patents, and copyrights, and is involved in design from a broad perspective while building trusting relationships with clients.
