Kayo Nishida

Born on Awaji Island. After graduating from high school, she left the island and moved to Osaka. After completing her master’s degree in architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Kansai University, she joined Nikken Sekkei in 1993. She has been involved in the design of medical and welfare facilities, offices, and financial institutions, including Sumitomo Hospital, the Yomiuri Kyoto Building, and the The Awa Bank, Ltd. Kamojima Branch.Since 2010, she has been with the CR (Client Relations) Department. His motto is to foster “The Kansai” style of meddlesome yet sincere client relations. She strives every day while asking herself, “Is there love in this?” Since 2026, she has also served concurrently as head of the Inclusive Design Lab. She is a First-Class Architect.
