Megumi Otaka

In 2005, after completing the Master’s program in Electrical, Information, and Life Sciences at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, she joined Nikken Sekkei. Her specialty is electrical systems design. She has been involved in electrical systems design across a wide range of fields—primarily educational and medical facilities, but also mixed-use complexes, radio towers, and research facilities. she received the Facility Award from the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers of Japan for the 3 GeV High-Brightness Synchrotron Radiation Facility, NanoTerasu. She places great importance on communication with project stakeholders and strives to create designs that closely align with client needs. She is a Certified Building Systems Engineer.
