Takashi Uchiyama

After completing the Graduate Program in Urban Engineering at the University of Tokyo, he joined the company in 2006. Following a secondment to a central government agency, he has been responsible for numerous urban development projects—both domestically and internationally—that are integrated with the development of urban infrastructure.
Engaged in a wide range of duties—from planning during the conceptual phase to project management during the implementation phase—he consistently strives to make high-value-added proposals by leveraging planning expertise and legal frameworks, while maintaining a balanced perspective that considers both the creators and the users.
Major projects he has led include Tokyo Skytree Town, urban regeneration projects in the areas surrounding Shinagawa Station and the Toranomon district, and the CBD development in Suzhou, China. He is a Certified Professional Engineer (Urban and Regional Planning) and a Redevelopment Planner.
