Takuro Fujii

Osaka University After completing his graduate studies, he joined Nikken Sekkei in 2004.
He worked in the Building Services Department (Architectural Design Department) and was seconded to the Nikken Sekkei Research Institute for two years starting in 2010. He focuses on building services planning that takes into account environmental considerations, energy-saving technologies, and business continuity planning (BCP), and has worked on numerous government buildings, airport facilities, and office buildings in particular.He has received awards for projects such as the Kawamoto Manufacturing Tokyo Building (completed in 2007) (Sustainable Architecture Award) and the Anan City Office (completed in 2017) (Society of Heating, Air-Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers of Japan Award for the Promotion of Technology, Carbon Neutrality Award). He is also actively engaged in disseminating his research to the wider community through academic papers and other publications.
