Teruyuki Nomura

In 2001, after graduating from the Department of Architecture in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Meiji University, he moved to the United Kingdom on his own. After completing his studies at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA) in London, he joined Grimshaw Architects, where he worked on numerous large-scale projects, including airports, train stations, and sports facilities.
After joining Nikken Sekkei in 2014, he has primarily been involved in the design of large-scale public gathering and community facilities both in Japan and abroad. As an architect, he has led the design of projects such as the New National Stadium (part of the Zaha Hadid Architects + design joint venture proposal) and the Camp Nou renovation project in Barcelona (winner of the International Architecture Awards (IAA)).
He is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the United Kingdom.
