Tetsumasa Sunada

In 1994, after completing a master’s program at Nihon University Graduate School, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is architectural design. He has been involved in more than 100 projects, including large-scale mixed-use complexes, large-scale integrated underground developments, and TOD developments overseas, as well as educational, R&D, industrial, and religious facilities in Japan. He has received numerous awards, including the Architectural Institute of Japan’s Selected Works Collection, the Japan Institute of Architects’ Outstanding Architecture Selection, the Kids Design Award, the World Architecture Festival Award, and the Shanghai Outstanding Survey and Design Award, among others. As an extension of his research in environmental psychology, he explores how urban environments and architectural spaces enrich people’s lives. He is a First-Class Architect and a member of both the Japan Institute of Architects and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
