In 2002, after completing his master’s degree at Nagoya Institute of Technology, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He has been responsible for the structural design of various types of buildings, including office buildings, schools, hospitals, government facilities, and specialized research facilities. He has also worked on the design of super-tall buildings and seismic-isolation structures; recent projects include the COOP Kyosai Plaza and Sophia University’s Sophia Tower.Although I did not conduct research on monitoring or vibrations during my student years or immediately after joining the company, I became a member of the NSmos team in 2015. I played a central role in the full-scale vibration tests of NSmos conducted as part of the E-Defense project, verifying the validity of NSmos.Currently, I serve as a sub-leader of the NSmos team, and outside the company, I participate in the Strong Motion Observation Subcommittee of the Architectural Institute of Japan. I am a First-Class Architect specializing in structural design.
