Koichiro Hara

In 1990, he graduated from the College of Science and Engineering at Ritsumeikan University and joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is electrical systems design. Since joining the company, he has been responsible for the electrical systems design of various buildings, including universities, research institutes, and super-tall office buildings.
Projects include the Tokyo Nihonbashi Tower, Tokyo Garden Terrace Kioicho, Tokyu Plaza Ginza, the Tohoku Medical and Pharmaceutical University Education and Research Building and New Hospital Building, and the DaiyaGate Ikebukuro Building, among others.
Given that designs incorporating the latest technologies may become standard practice within a few years due to technological advancements, I strive to create well-balanced designs by leveraging my broad expertise to ensure that the buildings we create will be cherished by our clients for years to come.
