In 2006, after completing his master’s degree at Kyoto University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His architectural designs are characterized by flexible thinking that approaches cities and architecture through the lens of art, culture, and local context, while using cutting-edge technology to ensure harmony with the global environment.In addition to his advanced knowledge and proven track record in museum design, he possesses extensive experience with a diverse range of building types—including offices, universities, training centers, public buildings, research institutes, sports facilities, apartment complexes, and hotels—as well as broad expertise spanning various fields and scales, from small art schools nestled in forests to supertall skyscrapers.Notable projects include “HOKI Museum,” “Meiji Jingu Gaien Training Building (Kyoto University of the Arts Gaien Campus),” “Hachijuni Bank Training Center,” “Museum Tower Kyobashi,” “Chiyoda Ward Sotokanda Branch Office and Community Center,” and “Shanghai Advanced Technology Research and Development Center.”He is a First-Class Architect and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan and the Tokyo Society of Architects and Building Engineers. “Museum Tower Kyobashi / Artizon Museum” has received high acclaim both domestically and internationally and has won numerous awards, including the BCS Award and the JIA Environmental Design Award.
