In 1986, after graduating from the Department of Electrical Engineering at Ritsumeikan University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. He specializes in electrical systems design. He has been responsible for the design of electrical systems for a wide variety of buildings, including airports, universities, factories, hospitals, commercial facilities, and offices. He has designed the Chubu Centrair International Airport Passenger Terminal Building (recipient of the Institute of Electrical Installations of Japan Facility Award and the Japan Lighting Award), the Nagoya City Western Medical Center Central Hospital, the Aichi University Nagoya Campus, the Hyakugo Bank Headquarters Building, the Fukui Prefectural Police Headquarters Building, and the Aichi Prefectural Women’s Comprehensive Center, among others. He strives to create buildings that satisfy his clients.
