Satoshi Onda
Director
In 1997, after graduating from the Urban Architecture and Design Program at Kogakuin University, he worked at Yokogawa Design Studio (led by Ken Yokogawa) before joining Nikken Sekkei in 2006. He has been responsible for a wide range of design projects, from residential buildings to large-scale developments and renovations. In 2021, he received the CTBUH Renovation Award for Excellence for the “Shinjuku Sumitomo Building RE-INNOVATION PROJECT”; in 2017, he received the Architectural Institute of Japan Project Selection Award and the Tokyo Architecture Award (Grand Prize for Single-Family Housing) for “On the Water”; and in 2014, the Good Design Award for the “Lazona Kawasaki Toshiba Building.” He is a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan and has served as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Kogakuin University since 2020.
