PYNT Terms of Use
Nikken Sekkei Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Nikken Sekkei”) hereby sets forth the following provisions regarding the rights and obligations between Nikken Sekkei and users with respect to the use of the facility “PYNT” (hereinafter referred to as “this facility”)and the services provided at this facility (hereinafter referred to as “the Services”), as follows regarding the rights and obligations between Nikken Sekkei and users.
Article 1: Purpose of Use
The purpose of this facility is “to gather on an equal footing, regardless of status, industry, title, or position, to identify issues and engage in critical thinking,” and “to solve social issues by continuously taking action with a fresh perspective alongside peers”; the facility shall be used for these purposes.
Article 2: Users
The following individuals are eligible to use this facility (hereinafter, individuals eligible to use this facility pursuant to this Article shall be referred to as “Users”).
Article 3: Scope of the Service
The scope of this Service is as follows.
Article 4: Hours of Operation
The hours of operation for this facility shall be determined separately.
Article 5: Usage Fees, etc.
Nikken Sekkei shall not charge users any usage fees, admission fees, or other charges in connection with the use of this facility, except as provided for in these Terms and Conditions and the Membership Terms and Conditions.However, users participating in events or services specified in Article 3, Items 3 and 4, for which participation fees or other charges are required, may be required to pay such fees directly to the event organizer.
Article 6: Rules of Conduct
In using this facility, Users shall agree in advance to and comply with the matters set forth in the following items.
Article 7: Use of Equipment
When users utilize equipment listed in the Facility Usage Manual, they must comply with the conditions, procedures, and other guidelines set forth in said manual.
Article 8: Lanyards with Card Cases and the Facial Recognition System
Guests visiting this facility may borrow a lanyard with a card holder (hereinafter referred to as the “lanyard”) only if they agree to the facility’s Terms of Use.
Members and other users of this facility may borrow a strap designated exclusively for members and other users if they have completed registration with the facial recognition system at the time of membership registration and have undergone the relevant authentication prior to using the facility.
Upon receiving a strap on loan, users shall agree in advance to and comply with the matters set forth in the following items.
Article 9: Carrying the Strap at All Times
While on the premises of this facility, you must carry the strap described in the preceding article at all times so that it is visible to those around you. Additionally, after your use of the facility has ended, you must return the strap to the 2nd-floor reception desk or the designated location.
Article 10: Events, etc.
Article 11: Confidentiality
Users shall not publish, leak, or disclose to any third party any business, technical, or other confidential information (hereinafter referred to as “Confidential Information”) regarding Nikken Sekkei, Corporate Members, other users, or third parties that they may have obtained through their use of this facility and these services.However, information falling under any of the following categories shall not be deemed Confidential Information.
Article 12: Waste Disposal
Article 13: Handling of Lost Items
As a general rule, lost or abandoned items found within this facility will be held in storage by the facility. If the owner does not come forward after a certain period of storage, the items will be disposed of appropriately.
Article 14: Security Cameras
Article 15: Closure of the Facility
Article 16: Closure of the Facility, etc.
Nikken Sekkei may close all or part of this facility and suspend the provision of this Service in any of the following cases:
Article 17: Prohibited Acts
Users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts within this facility and its surrounding areas.
Article 18: Prohibition of Entry, Removal from the Premises, and Restrictions on Facility Use
Nikken Sekkei may, if any of the grounds set forth in the following items exist or are deemed likely to exist, order a user to be prohibited from entering the facility, to leave the facility, or to otherwise restrict the user’s use of the facility; the user shall immediately comply with such an order.
Article 19: Damages
Article 20: Disclaimer
Nikken Sekkei shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to the following causes, except in cases of willful misconduct or negligence.However, in the event that Nikken Sekkei is at fault (excluding gross negligence), Nikken Sekkei shall be liable only for actual, ordinary, and direct damages incurred by the user.

In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of these Terms and any other regulations or rules, these Terms shall take precedence. However, in the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Membership Terms, the Membership Terms shall take precedence.

You agree that these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Article 27: Effective Date
These Terms were established on April 7, 2023.
They shall take effect as of the revision date of August 1, 2025.
Article 1: Purpose of Use
The purpose of this facility is “to gather on an equal footing, regardless of status, industry, title, or position, to identify issues and engage in critical thinking,” and “to solve social issues by continuously taking action with a fresh perspective alongside peers”; the facility shall be used for these purposes.
Article 2: Users
The following individuals are eligible to use this facility (hereinafter, individuals eligible to use this facility pursuant to this Article shall be referred to as “Users”).
| (1) | The member who has become a Private member of this facility in accordance with the separately established Membership Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Membership Terms and Conditions”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Private Member”) |
| (2) | A person designated by a corporate member of this facility (hereinafter referred to as a “Corporate Member”; together with members of Private, referred to as “Members, etc.”) as a user from among its full-time officers, employees, or other members, in accordance with the Membership Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as a “Corporate Member User”) However, the number of individuals permitted to use the facility as Corporate Member Users shall not exceed the limit specified in the Membership Terms and Conditions. |
| (3) | Private Persons approved by Nikken Sekkei as companions of members and corporate members (hereinafter referred to as “Guests”). However, the maximum number of persons permitted as companions shall be limited to the number specified in the Membership Terms and Conditions. |
| (4) | In addition, persons authorized by Nikken Sekkei (including the facility’s management and operating entity commissioned by Nikken Sekkei; the same applies hereinafter) |
Article 3: Scope of the Service
The scope of this Service is as follows.
| (1) | Use of Meeting Rooms |
| (2) | Use of Equipment and Tools |
| (3) | Use of the facility and its equipment for events and other activities held by members within the facility |
| (4) | Other services provided by Nikken Sekkei as appropriate |
Article 4: Hours of Operation

| (1) | Act in a cooperative manner with other users |
| (2) | You must comply with the provisions set forth in the Facility User Manual and other relevant documents regarding the use of this facility and the equipment and devices within it. |
| (3) | You must comply with these Terms and Conditions, all related rules and regulations, and the instructions of this facility’s employees. |
Article 7: Use of Equipment
When users utilize equipment listed in the Facility Usage Manual, they must comply with the conditions, procedures, and other guidelines set forth in said manual.
Article 8: Lanyards with Card Cases and the Facial Recognition System
Guests visiting this facility may borrow a lanyard with a card holder (hereinafter referred to as the “lanyard”) only if they agree to the facility’s Terms of Use.
Members and other users of this facility may borrow a strap designated exclusively for members and other users if they have completed registration with the facial recognition system at the time of membership registration and have undergone the relevant authentication prior to using the facility.
Upon receiving a strap on loan, users shall agree in advance to and comply with the matters set forth in the following items.
| (1) | Do not lend or transfer this item to others. |
| (2) | If it is lost, contact Nikken Sekkei immediately. |
| (3) | If the strap is lost or damaged, you must cover the actual cost. |
Article 9: Carrying the Strap at All Times
While on the premises of this facility, you must carry the strap described in the preceding article at all times so that it is visible to those around you. Additionally, after your use of the facility has ended, you must return the strap to the 2nd-floor reception desk or the designated location.
Article 10: Events, etc.
| 1. | Please be aware that events and other activities organized by members who have obtained approval from Nikken Sekkei may take place within this facility. Please note that such events and activities will be held in certain areas of this facility. |
| 2. | Nikken Sekkei shall notify members and others of the status of events and other activities as early as possible. |
| 3. | Members and others who wish to hold events or similar activities within this facility shall consult with Nikken Sekkei in advance regarding the details of such events or activities. In such cases, if Nikken Sekkei determines that the event or activity is consistent with the purpose of this facility, members and others may use the portions of the facility that Nikken Sekkei has authorized for use. When actually using the facility, members and others must comply with the terms and conditions of use established by Nikken Sekkei. |
| 4. | In the event that Nikken Sekkei requests cooperation for the purpose of revitalizing this facility or fostering camaraderie among members and others, we ask that members and others cooperate to the extent possible with the events and other activities specified in this Article. |
| 5. | We ask that members fully understand that this facility is designed to foster collaboration among members and promote joint business initiatives, with the aim of revitalizing the facility and fostering camaraderie among members, and that they contribute to the facility’s development. To that end, members shall cooperate with one another to the greatest extent possible. |
Article 11: Confidentiality
Users shall not publish, leak, or disclose to any third party any business, technical, or other confidential information (hereinafter referred to as “Confidential Information”) regarding Nikken Sekkei, Corporate Members, other users, or third parties that they may have obtained through their use of this facility and these services.However, information falling under any of the following categories shall not be deemed Confidential Information.
| (1) | By the time I learned that information, it was already public knowledge. |
| (2) | Information that the user already lawfully possessed at the time they became aware of it. |
| (3) | Information that became publicly known through no fault of the user after the user became aware of it. |
Article 12: Waste Disposal
| 1. | Users are required to keep the space they use clean at all times. |
| 2. | Please sort your trash and dispose of it in the trash cans provided within this facility in accordance with the facility usage manual and other relevant guidelines. |
Article 13: Handling of Lost Items
As a general rule, lost or abandoned items found within this facility will be held in storage by the facility. If the owner does not come forward after a certain period of storage, the items will be disposed of appropriately.
Article 14: Security Cameras
| 1. | Users hereby agree in advance to the following terms regarding security cameras.

| 2. | Nikken Sekkei may use the video footage to monitor the facility’s operations, check for violations of these Terms and Conditions, detect incidents such as theft or fire, identify lost items, and cooperate with criminal investigations by the police or other authorities. |
Article 15: Closure of the Facility
| 1. | Nikken Sekkei may suspend use of all or part of this facility (hereinafter referred to as “closure”) even during regular operating hours if any of the following conditions apply. In such cases, please be aware that users will not be able to use all or part of this facility.

| 2. | In the event that a closure is scheduled in advance, Nikken Sekkei will, as a general rule, notify members and others of the details by the previous day. However, in cases of emergency, Nikken Sekkei shall not be required to provide advance notice. |
Article 16: Closure of the Facility, etc.
Nikken Sekkei may close all or part of this facility and suspend the provision of this Service in any of the following cases:
| (1) | If Nikken Sekkei determines that use of this facility has become difficult due to weather, disasters, or other factors, and that operations cannot resume for a considerable period of time, |
| (2) | If Nikken Sekkei determines that it is difficult to continue operating this facility from a business perspective |
Article 17: Prohibited Acts
Users are prohibited from engaging in any of the following acts within this facility and its surrounding areas.
| (1) | Entering the Facility Outside of Operating Hours |
| (2) | Persons under the age of 16 may not use this facility after 7:00 p.m., and persons under the age of 18 may not use it after 10:00 p.m. |
| (3) | Entering Areas Designated as Off-Limits by Nikken Sekkei |
| (4) | Damage, destruction, theft, or other incidents involving the facilities, equipment, furnishings, and other items managed by this facility |
| (5) | Posting signs, posters, or other advertising materials inside or outside this facility without permission |
| (6) | Smoking on the Premises |
| (7) | Disposing of or leaving behind cigarette butts, paper scraps, dust, debris, or other trash in violation of this Facility Usage Manual |
| (8) | Duplicating the access wristband required to enter this facility |
| (9) | Taking photographs inside the facility without permission from Nikken Sekkei |
| (10) | Any act of creating printed materials—including business cards—that use the address and name of this facility, or posting such materials on electronic media such as websites, without the permission of Nikken Sekkei |
| (11) | The act of using confidential information without authorization, or disclosing or leaking it to a third party |
| (12) | Keeping animals on the premises or bringing animals onto the premises (except for guide dogs, hearing dogs, service dogs, etc., for which Nikken Sekkei has granted permission). |
| (13) | Selling goods, providing services, or engaging in any commercial activities or solicitation at this facility without the permission of Nikken Sekkei |
| (14) | Engaging in solicitation (including solicitation to join organizations), political activities, petition drives, or religious activities—regardless of whether for-profit or nonprofit purposes—(Private; however, this excludes religious activities limited to users Private, such as worship services held via ) (excluding activities consistent with the purpose of this facility). |
| (15) | Any acts within this facility involving the sale, solicitation, or referral of network marketing, MLM (multi-level marketing), multi-level sales schemes, insurance, educational materials, or other sales activities that members do not wish to receive |
| (16) | Behavior that causes a nuisance to other users or interferes with the use of this facility |
| (17) | Acts that interfere with work or cause a nuisance, such as detaining employees of this facility through interviews, phone calls, or other means without just cause |
| (18) | Behavior that disrupts order at this facility |
| (19) | Defaming or slandering other users, employees of this facility, this facility, or Nikken Sekkei |
| (20) | Acts of violence, threats, or similar conduct toward other users or facility staff |
| (21) | Stalking behavior, such as lying in wait for, following, or persistently approaching other users or facility staff |
| (22) | Acts that violate public order and morals, such as sexual harassment, peeping, and indecent exposure |
| (23) | The exchange of illegal items, such as drugs or equipment, within this facility |
| (24) | Bringing hazardous materials (explosives, explosive substances, and other items deemed hazardous by Nikken Sekkei) into this facility |
| (25) | Any conduct within this facility that violates laws, regulations, or other applicable rules |
| (26) | The act of disseminating antisocial, violent, or grotesque information |
| (27) | Other Conduct Deemed Inappropriate by Nikken Sekkei |
Article 18: Prohibition of Entry, Removal from the Premises, and Restrictions on Facility Use
Nikken Sekkei may, if any of the grounds set forth in the following items exist or are deemed likely to exist, order a user to be prohibited from entering the facility, to leave the facility, or to otherwise restrict the user’s use of the facility; the user shall immediately comply with such an order.
| (1) | If Nikken Sekkei determines that it is necessary to restrict use of this facility based on factors such as crowding levels within the facility |
| (2) | If a user fails to comply with these Terms of Use, related regulations, and the Facility User Manual |
| (3) | If a user fails to follow the instructions of this facility's staff |
| (4) | If Nikken Sekkei or the facility management team determines that a user is causing a nuisance to other facility users |
| (5) | If a user has previously been expelled from this facility (including cases where the user engaged in conduct warranting expulsion and subsequently withdrew voluntarily). |
| (6) | If a user engages in conduct that falls under the prohibited acts specified in the preceding section |
| (7) | If the user falls under the category of antisocial forces (as defined in Article 21, Paragraph 1) |
| (8) | In addition, if Nikken Sekkei determines that the use of this facility is inappropriate |
Article 19: Damages
| 1. | If, at this facility, a member or other individual causes damage—whether intentionally or through negligence—to the facility, its ancillary equipment, Nikken Sekkei, other users, or third parties, the member or other individual shall promptly notify Nikken Sekkei of such damage. |
| 2. | If a user causes damage to Nikken Sekkei, the user shall, upon Nikken Sekkei’s request, immediately compensate Nikken Sekkei for such damage at the user’s own expense and liability. |
| 3. | If a user causes damage to any party other than Nikken Sekkei, the user shall handle the matter in good faith, resolve it at their own responsibility, and ensure that Nikken Sekkei suffers no inconvenience or damage. |
Article 20: Disclaimer
Nikken Sekkei shall not be liable for any damages incurred by users due to the following causes, except in cases of willful misconduct or negligence.However, in the event that Nikken Sekkei is at fault (excluding gross negligence), Nikken Sekkei shall be liable only for actual, ordinary, and direct damages incurred by the user.
| (1) | Natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, the spread of infectious diseases, fires, disruptions to public transportation, riots or theft, malfunctions, damage, or failures of communication equipment (including IT and infrastructure) and other equipment, and damages resulting from unforeseen accidents (including loss, corruption, or leakage of data, as well as any direct or indirect damages resulting therefrom). |
| (2) | Damages incurred by users of this facility or other third parties |
| (3) | Damages incurred as a result of use that deviates from the proper usage guidelines set forth in this facility user manual |
| (4) | Damage resulting from maintenance work, repairs, modifications, or other actions performed to maintain and preserve the fixtures and equipment of this facility |
Article 21: Exclusion of Antisocial Forces, etc.
| 1. | The User hereby represents and warrants to Nikken Sekkei the matters set forth in the following items.

| 2. | In addition to the preceding paragraph, the User hereby represents and warrants that it has not engaged in, and does not intend to engage in in the future, any of the acts set forth in the following items, whether directly or indirectly.

Article 22: Private Data Protection
| 1. | To ensure the smooth operation of this facility, Nikken Sekkei will collect and use information such as the names (including corporate names), postal codes, addresses, telephone numbers, and email addresses of members and other individuals.Nikken Sekkei will manage and handle the information obtained from users in connection with member registration, use of this facility, and participation in events, etc. (Private), appropriately and strictly in accordance with Nikken Sekkei’s Privacy Policy.Please note that information regarding event registrations or usage of this facility may be disclosed only upon request from the member themselves or, in the case of corporate members, from individuals belonging to the same corporation. | 2. | Nikken Sekkei may disclose a user’s information to other users, in accordance with the methods specified by Nikken Sekkei, provided that the user’s prior consent has been obtained. | ||||||
| 3. | Nikken Sekkei may take photographs or record videos of visitors while they are on the premises or during events. | ||||||
| 4. | Nikken Sekkei may use the photographs and videos taken for the following purposes. If you have any objections to the taking or use of such materials, please notify the facility management team in advance.

| 5. | Photographs and videos taken will be managed appropriately in accordance with the Private Information Protection Act and other relevant laws and regulations, and measures such as editing will be taken as necessary to ensure that specific Private cannot be identified. |
Article 23: Amendment of the Bylaws
| 1. | Nikken Sekkei reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or establish new rules and guidelines as necessary, and shall provide advance notice or notification to members and others in the manner specified by Nikken Sekkei. |
| 2. | The changes described in the preceding paragraph shall take effect upon the expiration of the notice period. |
Article 24: Priority of Application
In the event of any inconsistency between the provisions of these Terms and any other regulations or rules, these Terms shall take precedence. However, in the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and the Membership Terms, the Membership Terms shall take precedence.
Article 25: Resolution of Disputes
| 1. | In the event of a dispute regarding these Terms, Nikken Sekkei and the User shall consult in good faith to resolve the matter. |
| 2. | If the parties are unable to reach an agreement through the consultations described in the preceding paragraph, any litigation arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of Nikken Sekkei. |
Article 26: Governing Law
You agree that these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.
Article 27: Effective Date
These Terms were established on April 7, 2023.
They shall take effect as of the revision date of August 1, 2025.
