In 1990, he completed his master’s degree at the Graduate School of Engineering, Kagoshima University, and joined Nikken Sekkei. He was involved in the design and project management of large-scale mixed-use complexes, offices, and commercial facilities, including the Queen's Square Yokohama, Tokyo Station Yaesu Development, the Grand Tokyo North Tower, the Development Bank of Japan Headquarters, the Meiji Yasuda Life L.A. Tower, and Shibuya Hikarie.
In 2012, he was transferred to the Client Relations (Sales) Department on a concurrent assignment. Drawing on his experience as a designer and guided by the principle of connecting social issues and client needs to social infrastructure, he is involved in design supervision and development-related tasks, as well as business development and acquisition in new fields and the establishment of external relationships.
Recipient of the Architectural Institute of Japan Award, the BCS Award, and the JIA Outstanding Architecture Selection; First-Class Architect; Member of the Japan Institute of Architects.
