Tatsuya Murai

In 1990, after completing a master’s program at the Tokyo University of Science, he joined Nikken Sekkei. His specialty is architectural design.
Since joining the firm, he has been responsible for architectural design across a wide range of projects, including cultural facilities, hotels, financial institutions, research facilities, and Expo venues.From 2011, he was stationed in Shanghai, China, for three years, where he managed large-scale projects. Currently, he is primarily responsible for the industrial sector (research facilities, production and logistics facilities, data centers, etc.). He also oversees the Nagoya design group, which handles the design of a wide range of facilities. He is a First-Class Architect and a member of the Japan Institute of Architects and the Architectural Institute of Japan.
