In 1990, after completing his master’s degree at the Graduate School of Osaka University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. Since then, he has been working to improve design and quality through computer-aided 3D modeling and to refine the consensus-building process.
In contexts where architectural information can be leveraged—such as presentations, competitions and proposals, design and supervision (primarily for medical and welfare facilities and research institutes), public relations, corporate planning, and information planning—I have been actively involved in developing tools, establishing systems, and implementing the digitization of operations.Regarding BIM promotion, he is active in various fields with an eye toward digital business not only at Nikken Sekkei but also across Japan’s design and construction industries.
