Joined Nikken Sekkei in 1996. Specializes in architectural design. Since joining the firm, he has been involved in a wide range of architectural design projects, including the Garden City Umeda Dai Building, the Kawai-cho Comprehensive Welfare Center “Mameyama no Sato,” the Nakatsu Saiseikai Hospital, the Kyoto University Katsura Campus, the Jiaikai Amami Hospital, Kyoto University Comprehensive Research Building No. 4, the Yodoyabashi Yamamoto Building, the renovation of the Kyoto City Hall Main Building and the construction of the new city hall, Keihanshin Toranomon Building, Keihanshin OBP Building, Equinix OS2x, OS4x, and OS5x, among others. His design philosophy centers on integrating function into architecture. He is a First-Class Architect and a member of the Architectural Institute of Japan.
