Haruo Tsukagoshi

In 1991, after completing his graduate studies at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he joined Nikken Sekkei. Since then, he has gained experience in the structural design of buildings featuring a wide range of structural systems and types, including vibration-damping and base-isolated structures.In addition to new construction, he has experience in seismic assessment and reinforcement design for existing buildings; most recently, he completed the design and construction supervision for the seismic damping reinforcement of a super-high-rise building, a project he had been involved with for many years. He has also been involved in the structural planning and preliminary design of office buildings and hotels overseas (in China), as well as domestic buildings, and takes pride in his ability to handle a wide variety of structural design projects.
